Breast Lift

A mastopexy, often known as a breast lift, is an operation to lift and reshape drooping breasts. In order to make your breasts more youthful, perkier, and higher on the chest wall, the procedure involves removing extra skin and reshaping the tissue. Repairing asymmetrical breasts, stretched areolae, or downward-pointing nipples are all included in breast lift procedures. Without the use of implants or fat transfers, our breast lifts provide you with naturally augmented breasts that rebuild your self-confidence in your physical appearance.

The following are some typical benefits of breast lifts:

  • Improves sagging, drooping breasts,
  • Can be performed alongside breast augmentation or reduction surgery,
  • Enhances the look of the nipple/areolar complex.
  • Can help relieve skin irritation,
  • Can improve the look of clothing and swimwear,
  • May contribute to greater physical energy,
  • Enhances the appearance of youthful, perky breasts,
  • Produces a silhouette that is more proportionate and balanced,

There are various kinds of uplift. The patient’s desired outcome and the size of their breasts are key factors in determining which form of uplift is best for them. Different methods of breast uplift result in different scars. Whichever uplift method you use, the scars shouldn’t show when you wear everyday clothes, bras, and bikini tops.

The Lollipop Lift is the most popular uplift procedure, which is performed by making an incision under the patient’s breast and around the patient’s areola (the darkish area surrounding the nipple). An Anchor Lift may be suggested by the patient’s surgeon if there is severe sagging. The greatest amount of drooping and reshaping transformation results from this kind of lift. One horizontal incision will be made by the surgeon along the breast crease during the procedure. One incision is located between the crease and the areola, while the other one is located around the edge of the areola. The doctor will lift and contour your breasts after making the incision. The surgeon will then remove any excess skin to give your breasts a tighter appearance after relocating your areolas to the proper location on the new breast form. Many of our patients who have undergone breast enlargement surgery report feeling more positive about their looks and how they look in their outfits. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or if you want to find out which technique suits you the best.

Am I suitable for a breast lift surgery?

Women in good physical condition who have reasonable expectations for correcting the appearance of saggy breasts are suitable for breast lift surgery. Compared to women with heavy breasts, those with smaller, sagging breasts frequently see longer-lasting outcomes. It is typically advised that women who expect to become pregnant in the future postpone their mastopexy.

Can a breast lift and augmentation be done at the same time?

A breast lift and augmentation can be performed simultaneously by a qualified surgeon.

Does breast lift surgery leave scars?

Our surgeon is an accomplished and talented expert. In order to get the most attractive and natural-looking outcomes, he will take every precaution to keep your incisions as small as possible. Your scars will remain hidden even in the most revealing tops.

How long will my breast lift last?

You’ll see long-lasting effects from your breast lift operation. As gravity and aging have an adverse effect on skin quality, you will notice changes in your contour with time. Sagging may happen as you age because your skin loses some of its natural elasticity, especially if you have larger, heavier breasts. You may be able to keep your results if you maintain a consistent, healthy weight.

Is it panful to have a breast lift?

Following your breast lift, you will feel some pain and soreness. You will be given medication to make sure you are comfortable at all times.

Do I have to wait until pregnancy?

The breast tissue and eventually the outcome of your breast lift can be impacted by pregnancy. You might get revision surgery if your pregnancy causes alterations to the appearance of your breasts.

Pre-Op Instructions

  • Avoid taking certain medications for two weeks before surgery. Ask your doctor before taking any medication if you experience a headache or other type of pain. You will receive a list of medications that you shouldn’t take during this time from us.
  • Make sure you talk to your doctor about any herbal or alternative medicine treatments you use and whether they are safe to take before and after surgery.
  • If you get an illness, such as a fever, before surgery, please inform us as early as possible.
  • Quit smoking. Smoking slows down the healing process and raises the risk of problems. If you already smoke, you should let your doctor know and give up smoking for two weeks prior to and two weeks following surgery.
  • Alcohol consumption the night before surgery should be avoided as it may cause your body to become dehydrated.
  • The night before surgery avoid eating or drinking anything after midnight.
  • Shower or take a bath the night before or the morning of the operation.
  • Go to bed as early as you can and get lots of rest the night prior to surgery.
  • Wear no cosmetics, deodorant, nail polish, powder, or skin care products on the day of your surgery.
  • Check with your doctor to see whether any of your prescribed medication should be taken the morning before surgery. Prescriptions for blood pressure or blood sugar should generally be kept up to date. On the morning before the procedure, you can safely take them with a drink of water.

Post-Op Instructions

  • In the initial days/weeks, minor swelling, bruising, mid-chest pain, unevenness, numbness, and decreased sensation are typical. Your body will heal as time goes by.
  • Don’t take certain drugs for the first ten days following the procedure. In order to obtain more details, kindly contact us.
  • Use only the meds that your doctor has recommended, and get in touch with us if you have any more questions. Take your antibiotics as directed until they run out.
  • To stop a blood clot from forming in your body, you can walk, climb stairs, sit, and stand. However, for three weeks, it is banned to engage in activities like heavy lifting, running, tennis, contact sports, dance, etc. You are allowed to massage your breasts as your doctor has instructed.
  • You can experience nausea the first several days after receiving anesthesia. It’s best to stay hydrated and eat light throughout this period.
  • Scars may turn red before they fade. Be patient; this is a natural process. You should avoid tanning your scars for the first nine months after surgery since they are more sensitive and may turn darker (and perhaps permanently) than the outer tissue.
  • For six weeks, you cannot sleep on your stomach or your sides. For your breasts to heal, you must sleep on your back.
  • It is encouraged to take showers rather than baths. After the first two to five days, you can begin taking showers, but be careful to dry your incisions thoroughly.
  • For six weeks, you shouldn’t wear a push-up or underwire bra. Wear your medical bra as usual.
  • You may see some leakage on the strips covering your wounds. After 3-5 days, your soreness will gradually subside.
  • Avoid driving for the first week after surgery, the seatbelt may cause irritation on your chest.
  • Avoid wearing clothing that you must pull over your head; instead, wear loose clothes that can be unbuttoned from the front.
