A Brazilian butt lift is a procedure which provide patients improved buttocks and a smaller waist. Brazilian butt lifts include shifting extra body fat from certain places, such as the back, waist, and belly, to the buttocks.
There are two distinct processes involved in the Brazilian Butt Lift:
- Liposuction can remove stubborn extra fat from your arms, legs, back, sides, abdomen, or other areas.
- After that, the liposuctioned fat is transferred to your hips and/or butt.
You are probably a suitable candidate for a Brazilian butt lift if you believe that your buttocks are flat or don’t fit the shapes of the rest of your body, or if your skin in that region is abnormally loose and flabby and exercise and dieting haven’t been able to fix the issue. A BBL begins with liposuction, in which the surgeon removes fat from certain body parts before processing and reinjecting it into the buttocks and hips. Before surgery, the planned locations for fat transfer and their contour are marked.
Liposuction is conducted in the desired locations after the patient is positioned face-down on the operating table under anesthesia, and the fat is extracted in a specialized system that isolates live fat cells from liposuction fluid. That fat is then injected into the buttocks in the designated places. Depending on the patient’s desired body shape, surgeons might sometimes graft fat into the thighs or hips. The process necessitates a few extremely small incisions that are sutured closed at the end.
Where will the fat for my Brazilian Butt Lift come from?
Liposuction will involve the removal of accumulated fat from troublesome regions. Even if you’re skinny and tight, you probably have enough surplus fat on your body to harvest the bare minimum of fat for a Brazilian butt lift injection.
How is fat for a Brazilian Butt Lift harvested?
Our doctor will preserve the shape of fat cells before transferring them to your buttocks. After he has retrieved the fat cells, they must be carefully strained and readied for injection. Our surgeon achieves the desired proportion by accurately injecting fat cells into the muscle and dispersing them around the upper and lower buttocks. The full BBL surgery typically takes 2-3 hours, and patients can usually return home the same day, however, the surgeon may demand a one-night stay if necessary.
How long will the Brazilian Butt Lift last?
Our surgeon employs a technique that allows 70% of the transferred fat cells to remain following your treatment.
Maintain a stable weight. A stable weight after your Brazilian butt lift can give you long-lasting outcomes for your liposuction and butt lift. If you lose weight, your buttocks are likely to shed fat as well. If you put on weight, your buttocks may grow larger.
The complete results of your Brazilian butt lift will be visible after six months. Unless they lose or gain a large amount of weight, almost all of our patients do not notice any changes after that.
When can I start exercising again after the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)?
As long as you don’t apply pressure on the area, you can resume exercising after six weeks.
When will I be able to go back to work after Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery?
After surgery, most of our patients take at least a week off, and we advise you to take 1-2 weeks off to heal.
When can I sit after the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)?
You’ll need to use a BBL cushion in the weeks following surgery in order to sit, and you should refrain from sitting for at least two weeks.
What is the difference between Butt Implants and Brazilian Butt Lift?
Brazilian Butt Lift uses the patient’s own fat to improve the buttocks as opposed to butt implants, which are manufactured artificially. Compared to butt implants, Brazilian butt lift offers patients more natural results with a lower risk of complications.

Pre-Op Instructions
- Don’t use certain medications since they could prevent blood from clotting normally.
- All herbal medications should be stopped immediately as many of them have negative effects that could make surgery more difficult by preventing blood clotting, altering blood pressure, or interacting with anesthetics.
- Please stop taking all diet medications, whether they are herbal, prescription, or over-the-counter because many of them can interact with anesthetics and raise cardiovascular risks.
- Vitamin E should not be used at high levels; however, a multivitamin that contains E is OK.
- Smoking should be avoided since it lowers blood circulation and can seriously complicate the healing process.
- You can take Tylenol or the generic version of this medication. Both blood clotting and healing are unaffected by them.
- Throughout your recovery, start taking one multivitamin every day. Your recovery time will be accelerated by your overall health.
- For four weeks before BBL treatments, avoid getting a sunburn or suntan of any kind. The danger of skin discoloration and/or blistering when treating tanned skin is higher. For four weeks before and after treatments, excessive sun exposure should be avoided.
- Use of self-tanning creams should be avoided at least one month before treatment.
- Certain drugs should be stopped at least one week before therapy since they may cause photosensitivity
